JG664A is a TAA Compliant SC version of the current SD JD229B 48 port PoE+ line card for the 7500 series modular switch. This a TAA Compliant SC version has the same PoE+ functionality and same 48 ports as JD229B, however, cost savings in TCAM were implemented to lower the price of the module to compete with Cisco's 48 port PoE+ modules on their 4500 series switches. JG664A provides full 48 port 802.3at functionality at a lower cost and a lower price than the competition.
